COAS Bajwa directs ISI and military officers to stay out of politics 

What happened:  The Cheif Of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, has issued directives for all the vital commanders and key officers, including the ISI. Ansar Abbasi reported for TheNews that  “Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa has issued fresh directives to all his commanders… to stay away from politics and avoid interacting with politicians.”  Details:  TheNews further quoted the development as,  “Defence sources lamented over these allegations and disclosed that the ISI sector commander, Lahore, who the PTI leaders are maligning, is not even in Lahore for over a fortnight in connection with some of his professional work in Islamabad.”  At the same time, while quoting sources, the publication reported that the development came after the PTI allegedly maligned the Army officials in their speeches.
