Capitalist approach? North Korea bans tight jeans, dyed hair and other western fashion 

What happened: As various international reports suggested that the North Korean president has reportedly banned tight jeans in a bid to target the North Korean women in their 20s and 30s. Yahoo News quotes the socialist patriotic youth,  “The young league’s patrols are cracking down on young people who wear long hair down to their waists, and those who dye their hair brown, as well as people who wear clothes with large foreign letters and women who wear tight pants.”  Details: At the same time, punishments have been announced for those violating the rules, as jail time along with other punishments has been proposed. Subsequently, according to Yahoo News, North Korea has also banned piercings, skinny jeans, and hairstyles since May. Whereas, Yahoo News has quoted another development,  “In the most severe cases, the violator’s name, home address, and workplace will be revealed publicly on the Third Broadcast.”
