Every year, women across the world celebrate International Women’s Day.
This year, Pakistan also witnessed the second iteration of the Aurat March that first took place in 2018. And while many enthused individuals rallied for the collective good of women, upholding colourful posters and chanting slogans, more than a few could not stomach the bold statements being made. Feminists wrongly come under fire for being anti-men or encouraging sentiments of hate towards men, but feminists have one goal: to strive for equality of genders.
