Barrister Pansota urges National Sports Federation to set up women’s teams

What happened: In a tweet, Barrister @muhammad_ahmad_pansota talked about his meeting with the Sports Board of Pakistan and wrote,  “I stressed on the need for all the NSFs to set up women teams. New women sports must be introduced.”  Dr Fehmida Mirza and guests who chaired the 24th Board of Pakistan Sports Board’s meeting included Ahmed Pansota, Abid Zuberi, and PTF President Saleem Saifullah. Details: At the same time, the board’s sports policies were appreciated by various guests. The Sports Board also discussed the new organogram and approved the Disparity Reduction Allowance 2022. Whereas, Barrister Ahmed Pansota, during the meeting, urged for women teams in different sports. The Nation further quoted the development as,  “Abid Zuberi said the new policy and a strong regulatory mechanism as per the best practices in the world were needed.”  The inclusion of foreign coaches at the national level was also discussed.
