Islamabad United  187/7 ( 20.0 OVERS)

Quetta Gladiators  190/5  ( 19.4 OVERS)

An unbeaten 57 runs partnership between B Cutting and M Nawaz takes away the joy of a home win from Pindi boys as Quetta wins by 5 wickets in Rawalpindi.

The ninth match of the Pakistan Super League 2020 took place between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Naseem Shah took 2 wickets while conceding 23 runs in his 4 overs. Colin Ingram was unbeaten 63 of 4. Captain Shadab and Ingram’s 76 run partnership was the backbone of Islamabad’s 187/7. Shadab made 39 of 25: 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Quetta had a solid start thanks to Jason Roy’s clean hitting. But the quick wickets of Shane Watson and Ahmed Shehzad shifted the momentum towards Islamabad. Ahmed Safi Abdullah took the wicket of Roy as soon as he reached his half century. Sarfraz Ahmed’s cameo of 33 off 19 included 5 fours.
