The captain of the Australian cricket team, Tim Paine, found an unusual way to compliment his opponent during the match by saying that he ‘smelled nice’.
Australian skipper made a very unconventional move during the Pakistan vs Australia T20 match on Thursday. In an attempt to unsettle Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan, he claimed mid-match, ‘He smells good’. This is not the first time the Australian cricket team captain has made headlines for quirky remarks. Prior to this remark, he also asked Rizwan to hit Lyon for a boundary with a sweep shot.

Rizwan scored 37 runs from 34 balls including seven boundaries. He got out as he was looking to be alarmingly close to the crease. His dismissal was controversial as Pat Cummins did not have anything behind the line. Rizwan was not asked to return to the field despite the replays showing that Cummins had overstepped.
