Many of us have been to good cafes like Starbucks, Costa or Tim Hortons that have succeeded in establishing a great environment for working while you sip on some delicious coffee. But did you know, that there is another place in Lahore that has one of the best workable settings along with fantastic coffee/desserts. Artisan Coffee Roaster in Lahore is a premium café that has been serving caffeinated beverages as well as bakery items for quite a while now. It is one of the most affordable cafes in Lahore that do not cost you a fortune to have a nice cuppa joe. I recently went to Artisan Coffee Roaster in located in Fairways Commercial, DHA Phase 6, Lahore. I had a project submission due but I was also craving a croissant as well as some Iced coffee. There had been some good reviews about it so i thought I should give it a try.
The café is in front of Markaz’s main piazza, offering great views of the golf course. My first look at their Almond Croissant immediately sealed the deal as I had been looking for one since my trip to Dubai. To go with that, I ordered the Biscotti Iced Frappe. The croissant was closest to the iconic Starbucks Almond Croissant, with a gazillion layers of buttery goodness as well as the iconic almond cream and toasted almond flakes. It was an instant nostalgic moment. The Biscotti Iced Frappe was also very refreshing and not too sweet. Their portions are very generous which makes it worth the price.
The entire setting was very peaceful and free from chaos. There was ample seating and charging stations so you don’t have to worry about running out of power on your laptop. I completed my work along with enjoying one of the best croissants I have ever had. The staff was super friendly and make every possible effort to make your experience nice. Their was high speed Guest WiFi so you don’t have to worry about running out of data in the middle of your work.
Overall, Artisan Coffee roaster is one of those underrated cafes in Lahore offering premium coffee and baked goods along with a peaceful and clean work environment.
