According to a statement from Spotify, the EQUAL initiative aims to celebrate female creators by providing them with a platform to share their work with the rest of the world. Details: Spotify’s EQUAL Artist of the Month will be featured on a rotating basis on a digital billboard advertisement in New York’s Times Square as part of the campaign. The ‘Mohabbat’ singer also posted a photo of herself in front of the sign, “All day, only today, on rotation, at every New Yorker’s favourite hang, Times Square. Thank you, Spotify and Spotify Pakistan. This is definitely epic,” she stated.
