Another blow to Gladiators as Mohammad Hasnain was barred from international cricket

What happened: The rising star from Pakistan, Mohammad Hasnain, has been suspended from all forms of international cricket after his action was found breaching ICC’s limit of 15-degree in the #BBL. His action was reported by the umpires during a game between Sydney Thunders and Adelaide Strikers and was then deemed illegal on February 4 by the PCB.

Details: Hasnain was sent back from his BBL trip after the umpires reported the action, subsequently was tested at the biomechanics laboratory in LUMS, Lahore, after which PCB issued a press release. At the same time, PCB received a formal report from Cricket Australia regarding Hasnain’s action and PCB claimed,  “The problem in Hasnain’s action can easily be solved.” 

What does the PCB have to say about it? On February 4, the statement by Pakistan Cricket Board was shared which barred him from playing all kinds of international cricket. As the PCB’s statement read,  “The PCB has discussed the report with its own bowling experts and is confident that the problem can be resolved. The PCB will now appoint a bowling consultant who will work with Hasnain so that he can rectify his bowling action.”  Hasnain has been a vital part of the national and the Quetta Gladiators side as he is the only bowler on the national side to click 145kph regularly.
