Animal pornography and gang-rape case reported in Layyah; nine-member JIT formed 

What happened:  In what comes as a piece of shocking news, a 9-member Joint-Investigation Team was formed to investigate  “an incident of gang rape and animal pornography in Layyah.”  The Federal Investigation Agency was also asked to be involved in the investigations.  More:  Tribune quoted the victim’s details as,  “Victim alleged that three accused, identified as Shaukat, Waseem Alvi and Abrar Asad kidnapped her with the connivance of a woman named Sana on July 3.”  Subsequently, it was reported that the accused took the victim near Azam Chowk and gang-raped her for five days.  What you need to know:  Trigger warning/Mention of triggering details. Later as Tribune and UrduPoint’s report states,  “The accused blackmailed her by filming her being raped by a dog and uploaded the video to foreign pornographic websites.”  Victim’s statements:  At the same time, Tribune quotes the victim,  “Pornography gangs call their victims by posing as friends, before abducting, gang-raping and blackmailing them by making videos.”  On the other hand, it was stated that reportedly the gans earned money by uploading videos on websites of rape by trained dogs.  Police action:  The Regional Police Officer of DG Khan Ch Muhammad Saleem took action and  “demanded an immediate report from the DPO.
