“Angry” Indian groom calls off wedding over serving food late

What happened:   In what is being reported as a bizarre incident, an Indian groom called off his wedding for the delay in serving food to his family. The groom was identified as Rajkumar Oraon and is a resident of Bihar district’s Purnia city and reached the wedding venue with his family and other relatives. An Indian publication reported the incident as  “Everything was going fine until some wedding rituals from the bride’s family resulted in a delay in serving food to the grooms’ family.”  Details: Rajkumar Oraon’s father got  annoyed  by the delay in food and decided to leave the wedding, but a panchayat interfered and tried to resolve the matter. Whereas, till then the groom had already left the wedding venue, so his father followed. On the other hand, the bride’s family lodged a complaint at the local police station and  “Made the groom pay for the expenses incurred at the wedding function.”  More: At the same time, the bride’s family returned the gifts that were given to them by the groom’s family and in the complaint stated that the Rajkumar’s family has to pay for the food expenses now. However, the local police are currently investigating the incident.
