Aged Lion at Karachi Zoo dies after a heart attack

What happened : The lion at the Karachi Zoological Garden died after suffering from a heart attack, the post-mortem report showed that the Asiatic lion had the presence of a large amount of fat in the arteries which caused heart failure. The feline was one of the two lions that were illegally brought to Karachi in 2017 and seized by the Sindh wild life department. A spokesperson of the Karachi metropolitan Corporation (KMC) said that the lion was nearing the end of a normal life indicated by the death of its pair in 2018. Click here for more from ProperGaanda
