After load-shedding and disrupting internet, mobile operators warn of shutting down cellular services 

What happened:  Pakistan is currently facing an economic crisis and long hours of load shedding. However, now it has been reported that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has received a letter by the telecom operators  “warning about shutting down their services as hours-long power outages have amplified their woes.”  What you need to know:  At the same time, the telecom operators have hinted at shutting down the phone and broadband services because the government has imposed a 100% cash margin on the import of telecom-related equipment, reports Daily Pakistan. It has further being quoted,  “Telecom companies also cited difficulties in keeping the cellular towers working on backup systems powered by petrol.”
