After Chinese, Japanese citizen mistook Karachi’s Orangi Town for a tourist spot

What happened: On Jan 31, a Japanese citizen named Tamazaki Takioya arrived in Karachi’s Orangi Town, mistaking it for a tourist destination. Takioya has been touring various regions of Sindh for the past two days and was recently discovered by police during a snap check in the area. Details: According to police, Takoiya was stopped by a police team who suspected him for being a Bengali national during a snap check in the region. The tourist notified the police about his credentials throughout the procedure, and was afterwards taken into protective custody and transferred to the office of SSP Suhai Aziz.  What else: The police afterwards transferred Takaoiya to the Foreign Security Cell. It has been learned that this is the Japanese national’s 104th visit to Pakistan, and he is on a tour around the world. Meanwhile, the Japanese Consulate praised the Karachi police for assisting a Japanese person and securely transporting him.
