Afrah Asif Admits Allegations Against Ukhano Were False

In the summer of 2019, July 9 to be exact, multiple harassment allegations surfaced against Pakistani VLogger Umar Khan, who goes by UKhano. After an initial post on Facebook accusing Ukhano of using his influence and position to his advantage went viral, multiple people came forth with statements saying he had sent them inappropriate messages on snapchat.  But one accusation amongst all stood out, that of model Afrah Asif, who accused Umar Khan of attempting to rape her. ProperGaanda reached out to Afrah Asif to confirm her statement after which she shared a detailed account of an incident in a Karachi hotel. Afrah stated Umar Khan asked her to pose in clothing she was not comfortable in and described in detail an account of sexual harassment.

From the get go, many stepped up to support Afrah Asif and condemn Umar Khan. But late on Tuesday night Afrah Asif uploaded a post on Facebook recalling her statement.

Afrah Asif’s statement has left many shocked, especially because it doesn’t seem to add up. Attached below is a screenshot of the first comment she made accusing Umar Khan of attempted rape, a comment which is now being attributed to an account hack.

Below is the initial comment and post made by Afrah Asif

Afrah Asif’s statement comes more than a week after Umar Khan uploaded a video on youtube, detailing his interactions with the FIA and the registration of an FIR. Attached below is a video Umar Khan released on the 9th of November titled “FACTS behind FALSE ALLEGATIONS.”
