What happened: Abid Sher Ali of PML-N and his family were out at a restaurant in London for a family meal when he was accused of jumping the queue using his political leverage. He was accused by a fellow Pakistani man, who was also at the restaurant with his family. The accusation quickly turned into a loud and crass verbal fight. Details: The videos of the incident have gone viral, with both sides using extremely offensive language aimed at each other’s mothers and wives. There have also been follow-up videos from Sher Ali and the 16-year old Shayan Ali, the son of the man who accused Sher Ali. Each side has contradicting statements, with Sher Ali calling out the other side as PTI supporters, and Shayan Ali asking the UK Home Office to hold Sher Ali accountable. The Turkish restaurant where the fight took place has clarified that Abid Sher Ali did not jump any queue and had made bookings for his family in advance.
