A three-year-old son ‘accidentally’ shot his mother dead

What happened: A three-year-old American child accidentally shot and killed his mother while playing with a gun in their Chicago home. The incident occurred at one of the parking lots of a supermarket in Dolton when the three-year-old was sitting in the child seat in the back of a car, with his parents in the front. Details: The three-year-old, without anyone knowing, got his hands on his dad’s pistol and the local police quoted the development as,  “The child began playing with it inside the car. At some point, the child pulled the trigger.”  The deceased, identified as Daejah Bennett 22, was accidentally shot in the back of the neck and was rushed to a local hospital, where she was declared dead.  More:   However, the Chicago police took the father into custody and started investigating whether he possessed the gun illegally and should be charged. NST.com quotes the development as,  “Every year, hundreds of children in the United States gain access to unsecured, loaded guns in closets and nightstand drawers, in backpacks and purses, or just left out. and shoot off rounds accidentally.”
