A Japanese startup company plans to provide physical pain to people in the metaverse

What happened: A startup technology company in Japan is counting on being able to provide physical pain to people in the metaverse as virtual reality becomes a reality. The Japanese company has the name H2L and is a Sony-backed company founded ten years ago. They have now planned to use the technology that uses electrical stimulation to manipulate the muscles of the hands and mimic feelings, such as catching a ball or a bird pecking at the skin. Details: The company’s CEO is quoted by WorldFaceUK as,  “The feeling of pain allows us to turn the world of the metaverse into reality with an increased sense of presence and immersion.”  At the same time, a Spanish start-up has also developed a jacket equipped with sensors to allow users to feel sensations ranging from shots to hugs.  More:   However, the Japanese startup has raised one billion yen and aims to make people’s life easier by providing all the real-life experiences in the metaverse.
