A difficult Eid ahead, lumpy skin disease takes over sacrificial animals 

What happened:  Not just the prices of sacrificial animals have surged but a disease pertaining to animals has come to the scene, especially in Sindh. It is pertinent to mention that the biggest market for sacrificial animals in the country’s hub, Karachi, was set up next to Karachi’s Superhighway.  What you need to know:  At the same time, Tribune quotes regarding the price hike among the sacrificial animals as,  “The prices of these various animals are booming due to Lumpy Skin Disease impacting cows.”  Subsequently, the development is further quoted as,  “At least 700 cows are believed to have been killed in Sindh, and thousands severely affected by this disease.”    More:  Whereas, quoting the visitors, Tribune wrote,  “I purchased two bulls, two months ago from the Malir cattle market for Rs220,000.”  On the other hand, a provincial task force has been initiated in Sindh to care for the livestock animals.
