8-year-old boy murdered after being raped in Karachi

 According to police, a preliminary autopsy conducted on Friday indicated an eight-year-old boy identified as Haris, was found dead near the Karachi industrial area.  A sub-inspector resident of Shafiq Colony alerted the authorities on the 15 helpline. One suspect, identified as Samiullah, has been detained and named in an FIR registered with the police.  The body was recovered from a cloth bag that the suspect was carrying. According to the autopsy report, the body was likely raped, but no torture marks were on the body. However, a chemical report had been requested, which will reveal more details, said the police.  The boy’s uncle said the detained individual made contradictory statements after he was taken into custody. The detainee first said the child’s body was found in a stream but then changed his opinion to say it was found near some flats; he added while talking to Geo news.
