65% of Pakistanis blame the PTI-led federal government for the country’s poor economic conditions

What happened: The quarterly Performance Evaluation Survey on January 31 disclosed the opinions of Pakistanis about the current government’s performance. A local publication quoted,  “Pulse Consultant’s indigenous tracking tool of public perceptions about the current political situation,”  disclosing that 99% of Pakistanis believe that inflation increased in the past three months. 

Details: Subsequently, the evaluation survey revealed that 65% of Pakistanis are blaming the current PTI-led federal government for the country’s poor economic condition. On the other hand, only 29% stated that the previous governments were responsible for the deteriorating financial situation. Only 18% of the Pakistanis were  satisfied  by Imran Khan’s performance during the 3 years and 56% of the Pakistanis  “Believe PM Khan’s claim that Pakistan is out of the economic crisis.” 

What else: It is pertinent to mention that the Performance Evaluation Survey disclosed that 69% of Pakistanis claimed that the country is going in a  “wrong direction.”  Whereas, a local publication quoted the development as,  “Respondents of the survey did not buy the government’s narrative where all blame was hurled at the previous governments’ loans.”
