37-year-old US man says, “I am in a serious romantic relationship with my car’ 

What happened:  The 37-year-old man from Arkansas, Nathaniel, in an interview with TLC, said,  “I am in a committed relationship my car, that is a 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo called ‘Chase.’”  It may sound bizarre to a lot, but this kind of strange addiction is called  Objectophillia, “a sexual or romantic attraction towards inanimate objects.”  Details:  Nathaniel claimed his love for the 1998 Chevy Monte Carlo in 2012, as he is quoted,  “I share an unusual relationship with my car. I have been sexually attracted to my car from the first time I saw it.”  His interview with TLC is further quoted as,  “His body(car’s body) and his interior and everything just together seemed to fit. I felt an instant connection.”
