The response : Levies personnel and rescue workers shifted the injured to the hospital and the bodies of the deceased were sent to their respective hometowns after the completion of medico-legal formalities. A Levies official said that although the surviving passengers have placed the blame on the drivers’ recklessness, the cause of the accident is still under investigation especially because the bus was already overcrowded with pilgrims sitting on the roof. This incident serves as a painful reminder of the Shah Noorani incident that happened last year killing 5 people and injuring over 24. Click here for more from ProperGaanda.
