Details:   12 prisoners took advantage of the policemen not being present at the scene and escaped by breaking the lock of Model Town Kachthery’s lockup. On the 6th of December, the incident was reported earlier at 11 am. It is pertinent to know that among the 12 escapees were two murderers, and the rest were deemed  “violent with criminal histories.”  However, the local police have issued a blue alert by cordoning off the nearby premises.
