What happened: The Punjab health department confirmed on Saturday that 12 cases of the Indian Delta COVID variant have been detected through random testing via genome sequencing. Details: 28 samples were randomly picked from three hospitals in Lahore, the Services Hospital, Meo Hospital and Jinnah Hospital.
