Almost 11 TV stations aired an identical propaganda piece written and produced by Amazon’s PR team.
Local news stations across the U.S. aired the same segments that praise Amazon’s role in reaching necessary groceries and cleaning supplies amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, and its agenda to do so while “keeping its employees safe and healthy.”
The segment entails interviews with Amazon employees who reveal their dedication to their job. “I was extremely proud of my team and the way they were handling the situation on a daily basis. Every day they came to work ready to embrace change,” Marty Kuhl, an Amazon fulfillment center site leader says in the segment.
These stations have not immediately responded to requests for comments.
