106 smuggled iPhones, Macbooks & laptops seized at Islamabad airport

What happened: On October 20, custom officials at Islamabad International Airport intercepted an effort to smuggle 106 iPhones, laptops, and MacBooks worth millions of dollars. Details: Three smugglers who landed from PIA flight number PK262 were arrested at the airport. Previously: Pakistan Customs agents stationed at the international departure were busy screening travellers with foreign passports. During the procedure they learned about an attempt to smuggle cell phones from reliable sources. A passenger who arrived from Qatar was later arrested as they tightened up the screening procedure.
